FYSA Registration Information

WEIGH-IN PROCEDURES

Mini-Pony B, Pony B and JV B

Weigh-in’s are scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2007. All “B” players must be at Heritage Park in Walkersville at 7:30 pm. All players must be weighed according to the Mountain Valley Football League rules and weights distributed in your parent packet. Each player must have their game jersey, shorts, and sneakers. Please do not wear your cleats. Please be prompt and check in with your coach upon arrival.

Mini-Pony A, Pony A, JV A and Varsity

Weigh-in’s are scheduled for Saturday, August 25, 2007. All Players, excluding Flag must be weighted in. All players must be weighed according to the Mountain Valley Football League rules and weights distributed in your parent packet. Mini-pony A, Pony A, JV A and Varsity teams members must be at Glade Elementary School in Walkersville by 9:00 a.m. Each player must have their game jersey, shorts, and sneakers. Please do not wear your cleats. All Varsity players must also have their helmets. There are no exceptions. Please be prompt and check in with Mary and then you will be directed where to go.

Each player will be weighed on a certified scale. No parents will be permitted in the facility. If you are in that area you will be asked to leave immediately. We realize that some players will be close on weight. Rest assured that all players will be weighed fairly. The head coach of the FYSA teams will be allowed in with players. We will also be in the room monitoring all of the weigh-ins.

If your child cannot attend the weigh-in on August 25th, he will not be allowed to play in the game scheduled with FSK. There will be a supplemental weigh-in on the following Saturday, September 1^st at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Park in Walkersville. If you are unable to attend the September 1^st, weigh-in, you will not be allowed to play in any games until the 5th week, when weigh-ins will be conducted again. Please see a Board Member immediately if you cannot attend the weigh-in on August 25th.

I thank you in advance for your cooperation. As always, we expect all FYSA players to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at the weigh-in. You are representing our league, as well as yourselves.
